How is it made?
Biodiesel is made by blending and heating vegetable oil with methanol and lye, which act as catalysts to break down the long hydrocarbon chain. The catalyst separates the glycerin (heavier part of oil) and leaves behind methyl ester, which is commonly referred to as Biodiesel.
