Laguna High School students
As students, we've all had the chance to ride in a school bus, some of us daily and some of us only for field trips. The Biofuels4schools campaign serves those youth that ride the school bus daily because the exposure to harmful emissions from diesel exhaust has an impact on your future health.
Please support the campaign by following the list of action items listed for parents and guardians to get involved. You can make a difference in your school bus experience by learning more about Biodiesel and supporting the use of it in your school buses.

How Laguna High School Students got involved... You can even go a step further like the students at Laguna High School in Sebastopol, CA and do a feasibility study on how much waste grease is available from restaurants in your area to meet the demand of 20% of the total diesel consumed by your school bus transportation. Go to the Laguna High School Biodiesel Feasibility study to learn more about how they found enough waste oil in their area of West County to meet the demand of 16,000 gallons of Biodiesel needed to blend into their diesel per year.
Also check out the 3 minute video of the Laguna High School students on a field trip learning about how to make Biodiesel.
